4 basic tips and a few senior pics

The last 2 weeks I had the opportunity to do 2 projects. A Valentine Mini Shoot and Senior Pics. Because all pics taken during the mini shoot were done as a gift, I am not able to share until tomorrow. As for the senior pics I can definitely share a few as well as some simple tips.

Tip 1 - Make sure to scout out several different options for taking pictures. Reason being, anything can happen from one day to another. You always want to have a back up plan. (One of the sites I really wanted to go to was closed off. Back up plan here we come...)

Tip 2 - When photographing your client, you may want all of your pictures to have the same angle, hand placement, etc. So shake things up a bit. Play with angles and have them stand, sit, squat or turn. You will end up with a huge variety of pictures to choose from later on.

Tip 3 - If you have an idea where you are wanting to take pictures, let your client know where you are going and the colors that will be there. Especially for women/girls so that if they would like they can dress to compliment. A simple accessory can make your client 'POP' in a picture if it compliments their surrounding. (As seen in the picture above. I love how her scarf stands out.)

Tip 4 - Always have fun. If you are enjoying yourself, it will be catching and your client will enjoy themselves as well. End result, AMAZING PICTURES!
